The BettyAnne II
A lovely Model 750 Touring Car, the BettyAnne II is clearly a luxury
vehicle, even in her current state of disrepair. Note the beveled glass
wind-wings and the aftermarket heater beneath the dash: this automobile
was built for style.
Interestingly, this car may have been in Texas almost from the start! Records show it being driven as late as the 1950s, and stories from the prior owner make it sound like a very social car, driven up on the steps of a local bank every year to celebrate the Fourth of July. At some point, however, it was abruptly parked and left to rot. At some point, a lean-to was built over it, shielding it from the worst of the weather, but still: time has taken its toll on this one. Luckily, though, all the parts appear to be intact! Putting this jewel back together will take
some time and effort, but we're sure it will be worth it in the end.
